Q: Do I need a doctor's referral to see a Chiropodist?
A: No, you do not require a doctor's referral to visit a Chiropodist in Ontario. 

Q: Do I need a prescription from a doctor in order to get custom foot orthotics?
A: No, you do not require a doctor's prescription to get custom foot orthotics. Chiropodists in Ontario are licensed to prescribe custom foot orthotics.

Q: Will my custom foot orthotics still be covered under insurance if I do not have a prescription from my doctor?
A: Yes. Your Chiropodist will write you the prescription for the orthotics if they are deemed medically necessary.
